This Medical Technologist II position provides laboratory results in a timely fashion to aid the physician in the diagnosis and management of patient care, striving to give accurate information towards this end. This position will hold the same accountabilities outlined in the Medical Technologist job description, with additional responsibilities in lab operations. This position will be responsible for test analysis in Flow Cytometry.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences or in Medical Technology is required.
Two to five years of experience required.
Background in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, phlebotomy, blood bank, and biological sciences; an understanding of quality control concepts and general laboratory techniques.
Ability to attend to detail; strong organizational skills; the ability to work under stressful working conditions; excellent communication skills; good interpersonal, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
Data entry and computer operation skills. and critical judgment skills.
A Registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathologist-MT(ASCP) or equivalent is required for this position.
1 year clinical internship in an accredited hospital laboratory program.
Experience with Flow Cytometry and Hematology Lab preferred.
