The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences seeks a Research Associate 1-B/H to join our team. Research Associate 1 will conduct research using Raman spectroscopy to characterize molecules interacting with nanomaterials; research associate's duties will include performing experiments and gathering data, assisting in the maintenance of all laboratory equipment while abiding by all laboratory safety policies and procedures; attend research group meetings; provide written and oral reports of research data and results; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Chemistry, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to translate, adapt and apply academic and/or practical knowledge in the area of chemistry and biochemistry.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a chemistry/biochemistry research capacity; experience in Raman spectroscopy.
Target Salary: $17.00 - $18.67 Hourly
