Department of Medicine-Division of Infectious Diseases Position: Specialist Series Salary: Commensurate with research experience The Department of Medicine-Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking applicants for a Specialist series position. The laboratory is involved in the study of Toxoplasma gondii and Entamoeba spp. pathogenesis using in vitro and in vivo approaches. The candidate must have strong laboratory research background and knowledge of a wide set of molecular biology techniques. The candidate should have experience with DNA and RNA analyses, cloning, protein extraction and western blots. Demonstrated skill in carrying cell lines and use of sterile techniques is also required. Only for applicants with a strong background in microbiology, molecular biology, mouse studies and tissue culture. Strongest preference given to highly motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capable of working pro-actively.
