You Will: Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Cell Therapy Laboratory to ensure efficient and effective operations and to meet the needs of the physicians and patients utilizing the services. Provide additional oversight for manufacturing services to meet the increased workload, documentation requirements, and to provide supervisory oversight of staff. Lead the daily operations of the CTL for Clinical Services, which include: investigative studies, management of the Cell Therapy processing and infusion schedule, staff scheduling and assignments, including extended weekday hours and weekend coverage when required, logistic coordination of protocols, oversight of Standard Operating Procedure development, review of Proficiency Testing, new instrumentation development and implementation, troubleshoot highly complex manufacturing processes, and direct/oversee Technical Specialists. Manage and monitor the arrival of cord blood and NMDP products, on call coverage of extended weekday hours and weekends. Assist the manager with administrative duties, including payroll approval, review of reagent and supply orders, budget preparation, and preparation for inspections and accreditations for FACT, AABB, The Joint Commission, NYSDOH, CAP, and FDA.
