The laboratory of Dr. Ha Youn Lee is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate in Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California.
Dr. Lee's NIH-funded lab research focuses on HIV-1 vaccine design and epidemic surveillance. They are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate to lead a project defining novel immune correlates capable of inducing broad T cell responses to HIV-1. The surface morphology of MCH-presented peptides influences the breadth of elicited T cell responses. This project aims to design candidate HIV vaccine peptides and to optimize their MHC presentation. Using in vitro immunogenicity assays the lab will assess the T cell responses elicited by candidate peptides, including performing cellular assays and RNA-seq to analyze T cell activation.
