BIOLOGY FULL TIME, TENURE TRACK FACULTY
Harper College is currently accepting applications for one full-time tenure track faculty position teaching laboratory-based biology courses. The successful candidate must be able to teach General Biology for majors and Human Anatomy and Physiology. As the successful candidate, you will maintain the highest possible standards of classroom instruction and laboratory safety; keep abreast of new information and developments in the biological field and demonstrate the ability to use technology in teaching.
At least a Master's degree in Biology or a MS in a related sub-discipline with 18 graduate hours in Biology is required.
Community college and/or university teaching experience is required
Minimum of two years teaching experience and demonstrated teaching competence in a variety of biology courses including two semester sequence, laboratory-based courses in General Biology for majors as well as Human Anatomy and Physiology preferred.
