The Project Manager III, reporting to the Responsible Official (RO), is responsible for managing activities in support of the Biological Select Agents and Toxins (BSAT) program by: 1) collecting, generating, and maintaining accurate and complete records for review by federal oversight agencies; 2) managing and coordinating meetings, exercises, and training sessions; 3) serving as Alternate Responsible Official for the Texas A&M University BSAT program; and 4) providing biosafety and compliance services for laboratories conducting activities with biohazards.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seven years of experience working in biosafety, research compliance or a related field.
