We are filling a Research Associate position in the Fermentation Process Development team. This individual will be part of a team responsible for operation of on-going small-scale fermentations in our R&D Fermentation laboratory. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to advancing the Company’s biotechnology for commercial deployment. The individual in this position will work with other Research Associates and Research Scientists and be responsible sampling and control of experimental fermentations, starting new fermentations, and routine microbiology lab operations support. The candidate will participate in fermentations that range in nature from proof-of-concept to scale-up. The position requires significant independent work and regular interaction with the fermentation team. The Research Assistant/Associate will stay informed via regular face-to-face meetings and frequent written communication (emails and memos) with the Fermentation supervisor.

Previous microbiology laboratory experience or coursework, familiarity with fermentation processes. Student working towards/have a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Associates degree will also be considered with proper work history
