Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biophysics (or a closely related field) and should have less than 3 years of postdoctoral experience. The ideal candidates will possess significant experimental training in biochemistry and genetics, as evidenced by at least one first authorship publication in peer-reviewed journals. Previous experience in RNA/Ribosome biology, enzymology, and/or structural biology is highly desired.
The stipend level will be commensurate with years of experience according to the NIH guidelines.

Research in RNA and Ribosome biology. Projects will employ a range of molecular biological approaches, including NGS and bioinformatics.
Cell free translation systems and ribosome profiling
Skills in CRISPR-Cas editing and CRISPRi, enzymology, RNA-protein interactions
Proficiencies in word processing, spreadsheet, database software, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, statistics and other software used in scientific research analysis are required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
