Applications are invited for a tenured faculty position in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Brown University at the rank of Assistant Professor. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to Immunology, Immunology related diseases, tumor immunology, or mucosal immunity.
Assistant Professor (Tenured Track)
1. Develop an independent research program involving immunology, immunology related diseases, tumor immunology, or mucosal immunity. This research should be of sufficiently high quality to attract external, peer-reviewed funding. 2. Teach a course in Immunology. 3. Participate in teaching to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. 4. Participate in academic advising of undergraduate and graduate students. 5. Serve on committees of the Division of Biology and Medicine.
1. Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent. 2. Two or more years of post-doctoral training and demonstrated research experience 3. Potential for teaching excellence. 4. Potential for productive interactions with other faculty in the Division of Biology and Medicine, the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, and the Graduate Program in Pathobiology of Infectious Disease and Host Defense. 5. Secure an established externally funded research program recognized at the national and international level.
