The Department of Molecular Pathobiology is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join the NYU College of Dentistry (NYUCD) Microbiome group. We are looking for a Postdoctoral Associate who is an excellent experimentalist in cell culture and molecular biology with a strong background in microbiology to investigate the mechanisms of host-microbiome interactions in mouth and gut. We are expanding experimental work to reveal the new mechanism by which microbiome and its metabolites modulate host response in various diseases.
Please refer our recent publications Cancer Discovery 2018, Nature 2019, and iScience 2020. At NYU Dentistry, the Microbiome team has extensive experience in analyzing large metagenomic datasets with many variables along with clinical data. This is an exciting workplace with fast-paced science and amazing resources. Prospective applicants should have experience in the area of host microbe interaction, as evidenced by publication record. We are seeking creative and highly motivated individuals who want to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary research environment and gain experiences in both pre-clinical and clinical settings.
