Research Technician - Molecular Biology and Microbiology, School of Medicine - (20001616)
This is a grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay.
The Molecular Biology and Microbiology Department works on the interaction of bacterial pathogens with the host.
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, the applicant will conduct a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing ELISA assays, tissue culture, RNA extraction, qRT-PCR and work with laboratory animals. May also record test results and analyze data using basic statistics.
Bachelor's degree in science with up to 1 year laboratory experience.
Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and procedures.
