The Department of Food Science in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking Part-time Lecturers to teach during the Spring semester various undergraduate or graduate courses such as : Food and Health, Food as Medicine, Carbohydrates in Foods, Nutragenomics & Nutraceuticals, Sensory Evaluation of Foods, and possibly others.
The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades and coordinate any other requirements related to course instruction. Applicants should specify which course is of primary interest.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Interested candidates should have a degree in food science preferable at the MS or PhD level. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated evidence of past teaching effectiveness and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good knowledge of MS Office applications. Must have authorization to work in the USA.
