The Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology (MMI) at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine is seeking candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate level. The ideal candidate will establish an innovative and independent research program that complements the departments strengths in autoimmunity, cancer immunology and infectious diseases. Investigators with expertise in bioinformatics, metabolomics, and drug discovery are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will hold a doctorate degree (Ph.D. and/or M.D.) and be expected to develop an innovative and interactive extramurally funded research program, participate in the educational mission of the department, and engage in university service. Applicants at the level of Assistant Professor should have completed at least two years of postdoctoral training with a strong track record of productivity. Applicants for employment at the level of Associate Professor are expected to have current external (NIH) funding.
