We are a leader in all types of medical testing for hospital patients and outpatients and provide full-service testing in many areas, including general chemistry, microbiology, virology, parasitology, surgical pathology, blood bank, cytology, hematopathology and HLA.
Upon supervision, you'll microscopically evaluate all types of specimens submitted, recognize abnormalities identified and render and inform diagnoses to the cytopathologist for consideration. In addition, you'll prepare cytologic specimens for evaluation using established procedures, perform appropriate record-keeping procedures and fulfill the duties of the cytopathology supervisor during that supervisor's absence.
Full-time, days, Monday – Friday
We are looking for:
Must have completed cytotechnology training in a CAHEA-approved program and/or qualify as outlined in Rules of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation as required for licensure.
One year of laboratory experience as a cytotechnologist is desirable.
Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver."
