The School of STEM at Trevecca Nazarene University is seeking a full-time biology faculty member for a tenure-track position. The faculty in our department embrace a collaborative and cross-disciplinary approach to teaching and student-led research. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate teaching excellence, passion for student-led research, and a strong commitment to the mission of the university. Further, the candidate is expected to contribute as appropriate to Master degree offerings being developed at the university level.
A Ph.D. in biology or a closely related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and teaching experience in microbiology and/or immunology. Additional responsibilities will include student advising, serving on departmental and university committees, and teaching other biology and general-education courses appropriate to the candidate's qualifications.
