Conduct microbiological tests and and assays for studies on pathogenic Escherichia coli. The methods will involve a combination of techniques, both standard clinical bacteriology and molecular biology. Aid in day-to-day maintenance of the laboratory in accordance with general laboratory safety and bio-safety regulations and guidelines. This position will report to the Laboratory Manager.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in biochemistry, biology, medical technology, microbiology, veterinary science plus two years of microbiology laboratory technique experience required; equivalent education/experience will be considered.
