Center on Forced Development (CFD) at Boston University is seeking a postdoctoral associate for a unique opportunity at the interface of science, health, policy and forced displacement. The post-doctoral associate will conduct original research at the interface of disease dynamics, forced displacement and access to care among refugees, internally displaced and stateless communities. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring doctoral level expertise in infectious diseases, microbiology, computation or related disciplines and are interest in working with scholars, practitioners and field experts from multiple disciplines including basic and applied sciences, humanities, social science and policy studies.
Responsibilities will include:
Original (lab and/or computational) research, combined with research dissemination for a broad audience and science writing;
Collaboration with campus stakeholders to build supportive partnerships for the Center; - Research report writing;
Disseminating research findings to broad audience and other duties as assigned.
Doctoral degree is required.
