CLIENT-BASED RESEARCHER II
Job Summary: The Biotechnology Center is seeking an ambitious, independent Client Based Researcher II to support the services of the Animal Models Core whose mission is to provide various genome editing technology including CRISPR and related support to UW investigators. The Animal Models Core is a fee-for-service facility within the Biotechnology Center. This core generates novel animal models including mice, rats and swine for campus. They are also responsible for rederiving off-campus mouse and rat lines for UW labs and cryopreserving these valuable lines.A successful employee demonstrates efficient time management skills in addition to strong attention to detail in carrying out lab and animal related tasks.
