Position Summary
A Technician B position is available in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology to in a dynamic interactive laboratory studying human immunology.
Responsibilities
Duties include working with laboratory personnel to process human samples for immunological assays, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques including transcriptome profiling, and participating in cutting edge research.
Work independently on experiments and help optimize current experimental protocols, as well as assisting with wetlab and computational scRNAseq workflows.
Help train new members in established protocols when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of related experience.
Basic knowledge of molecular biology or immunology from coursework or equivalent research experience.
