Overview:

The Production Manager will manage and coordinate all aspects of operations for the assigned department, ensuring safety, quality, cost, service, and employee relation needs are met.  Will provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to Production Supervisors & Leads.

• Organizes and manages daily operational requirements to consistently meet customer expectations through on-the-floor involvement.
• Oversees implementation of employee development programs to ensure company needs are met relative to employee knowledge, training, and development.
• Directly supervises production supervisors, and monitors lead.
• Advises direct reports on proper handling of disciplinary actions, performance, assessments, and overall communication.
• Set expectations, track results, and manages accountability. 
• Monitors staffing needs to allow company objectives to be met.
• Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.

• Demonstrated minimum 2 years of Manager or Leadership skills with food processing or manufacturing company leading a production team with food science or poultry science.
• Demonstrated production knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills, including professional oral and written communication, a team-focused approach and the ability to model composure/make decisions in stressful situations.
• Bilingual is mandatory in Spanish and English
