Position Summary
The Horani Lab is seeking researchers and scientists at different levels to join a growing group. Our lab is part of the Washington University Cilia group, and studies airway epithelial cells biology, and motile cilia disease using primary human and mouse airway cells, and mouse and cell-culture models. Techniques in the lab include molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, and large data set (omics) analysis. We have multiple collaborations with other motile cilia and centrosome laboratories, genetics, and computational scientists to take complementary approaches to our questions.
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with bioinformatic analysis (Seurat, Bulk RNAseq analysis).
Familiarity with R language and sequencing analysis.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Prism.Â
Required Qualifications
Candidates with prior experience in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field and hold at least a bachelorâ™s degree are encouraged to apply.

Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
