Experience with program evaluation and assessmentâ¯.
Job Description:
Student Health and Wellness is hiring a Food Security and Basic Needs Coordinator to act as the coordinator of basic need insecurity programs, services, and initiatives on campus. This role will collaborate with the SHOP student organization on operational and business management processes connected to the on-campus pantry. Â In addition, this role will coordinate other basic need insecurity programs, including management, supervision, financial management, and educational opportunities focusing on student wellness.
Example of Duties Â
Manages and oversees inventory, ordering, delivery of food and products. Â
Oversees training of staff on standards of practice, food safety, and risk management to be compliant with university code and regulations. Â
Offers comprehensive and complex programming to support long-term changes in nutrition and wellness. Â
Conducts needs assessment to identify and implement innovative ways to meet targeted under- served and under-represented audiences. Â
Functions as an effective educator using innovative and creative approaches. Â
Establishes, organizes, and facilitates networks and coalitions at the local and area level to build community capacity. Â
Secures resources to support identified needs at the county and area levels.Â
Creates and manages database for educational resources and tools.Â
Assists with projects, reports, correspondence, grant writing, proposals, and data collection.Â
Monitors the program budget and makes recommendations regarding allocations of resources and expenditures of funds. Â
Data interpretation to be used to meet strategic goals. Â
