St Joseph RegionalLocation: US:PA:Reading Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.00 Shift: Varied Hours: 11:30a - 8:00p Monday - Friday day shift on weekendSUMMARY OF POSITION: The medical laboratory scientist, under minimal supervision, is responsible for independently performing complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, cells, and tissues that includes standardized microscopic, chemical, and/or bacteriological testing. All testing is performed in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures, FDA, CAP, OSHA, CLIA, and Joint Commission regulations and guidelines. Test results are used in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
