This position is a leadership role in the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Metabolic Kitchen. Performs, manages, leads, and trains and supervises staff and students in a wide variety of activities related to the metabolic kitchen. Performs routine and specialized lab and food service processes and compiles data from multiple sources. Solves routine and complex problems requiring fundamental scientific, food service and administrative skills.

Education & Experience:
Requires B.S. and/or MS degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Public Health or related field. Minimum 1 year's metabolic or research kitchen experience with M.S. or 5 years without M.S. Requires 1-2 years demonstrated management experience. Requires demonstrated competency in leadership. RD or LDN is Preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
Prefer Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist certification and knowledge of clinical trial management and implementation. Experience with management, kitchen operations, and kitchen procurement is required. Needs excellent interpersonal skills plus ability to understand and comply with GMP, ServSafe, FDA, and NIH guidelines and regulations. Requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail in conducting experiments. Ability to multitask on projects and demonstrate good results orientation through a pro-active and team-based approach.
