1. Researches and collects data through complex laboratory/scientific experiments, techniques, and procedures; library research; structured interviews; or through other means for research projects. Interprets, synthesizes, and analyzes data using scientific or statistical techniques. 2. Modifies and plans research experiments, procedures, tests, or survey instruments. Assists in research design. Writes and edits material for publication and presentation. Reports on status of research activities. 3. Required Skill/ability 1: Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record with outstanding precision and attention to detail in performing all basic laboratory techniques including repetitive pipetting, using precision balances, and preparing solutions of different molalities.

Required Skill/ability 4: Ability to evaluate the suitability of a serum or plasma sample for integrity including its processing prior to arriving in the laboratory and their appearance upon arrival in the Mineral Metabolism Laboratory.
Required Skill/ability 5: Demonstrated ability running equilibrium radioimmunoassay, multi-channel autoanalyzer platforms, handling I-125radioactive materials and waste disposal, working with the Office of Health and Safety using EHS Integrator, and assisting in preparing quarterly quality assurance reports using Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism.
