We are seeking instructors dedicated to excellence in teaching who desire to make a difference in the lives of our students. Teaching assignments will be located at the Riverland campus of Austin, MN. The instructor may be assigned to teach in a traditional classroom and lab format as well as online, hybrid and interactive television formats. Classes meet during daytime hours.
The candidate must be able to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and college laboratory assistants in lab settings, demonstrate knowledge of and experience in assessment of student learning outcomes, participate in department meetings, curriculum development, and college-wide committees, and maintain ongoing professional development activities.

Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in food science, agriculture, agriculture education, business, finance, economics, marketing, or other programs related to food science.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in this field.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
