Job Summary: The Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (WVDL) is seeking a Microbiologist I in our Necropsy/Histology Department. This position functions within a team of microbiologists and students to perform duties in each of the 3 Pathology subsections: Necropsy, Histology, and transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE). The main tasks for this position include, but are not limited to; performing and reporting testing and assays, quality assurance/quality control, necropsy assistance, and histological duties.
