Environmental Investigation Specialist | ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
Job Description and Duties This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by providing Environmental Professional expertise to local Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Programs. The candidate works under the close supervision of the Environmental Program Manager (EPM) I (Supervisory), Chief of the Lead Hazard Reduction Section. The Environmental Scientist (ES) serves as a member of the Lead Hazard Reduction Section to perform a variety of responsible scientific professional office and field work. The ES supports, builds capacity of, and assesses performance of, local childhood lead poisoning prevention programs (CLPPPs) that are providing services under contract to the Childhood Lead Poisonin
