Chief Administrative Officer, Anatomy and Microbiology & Immunology
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) oversees all activities related to departmental administration, including financial, personnel, systems, research and facilities management, and assures compliance with University policies and procedures. The CAO is responsible for hiring and retaining a well trained, efficient and customer service-oriented staff, and is responsible for the careful management of both the equipment and space assets of the department. The CAO participates in immediate and long-term planning for the department with the goal of maximizing limited resources. The CAO establishes and maintains timely and appropriate reporting mechanisms for the chairs and faculty regarding fiscal, personnel and other critical management areas.
