A Post Doctoral Scholar position is available to work with Christopher Simmons in the Department of Food Science and Technology within the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. This is 2-year funded Postdoctoral research position in the Food Perception and Liking Laboratory at The Ohio State University. The position will report to Dr. Christopher T. Simons. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Sensory Science, Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field, with practical experience conducting human subjects research. Responsibilities include conducting experiments focused on the sensitivity of oral tissues to mechanical stimuli and its relationship to food texture perception and acceptability. This project involves developing and applying new stimuli and method
