Research Technologist
The Department of Psychiatry, Affective Disorders and Psychiatry Genetics are seeking a Research Technologist to assist with various projects in the Lee and Tamashiro labs, focusing on epigenetic mechanisms of stress on learning and memory. The Lee and Tamashiro labs utilize postmortem brain tissues, animal models, and tissue culture cell lines to investigate how stress alters epigenetic markers, gene expression, and neuroendocrine pathways, which can contribute to psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety and neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesFollow established procedures or protocols and utilizes aseptic technique to
