Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct PBMC isolation from human blood and bone marrow samples, as well as human tissue processing to isolate immune cells

• Perform cell culture techniques including cell line maintenance, primary cell isolation, and cell-based assays

• Organize and maintain an inventory of samples from healthy donors and patients, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility for research activities. Prior experience in managing biobanking software platforms, such as OpenSpecimen is desired

• Operate flow cytometry instrumentation, conduct multicolor flow cytometry experiments, and analyze resulting data

• Manage inventory of antibodies and other reagents destined to use in flow cytometry Collaborate with team members to design and execute experiments, troubleshoot technical issues, and interpret results

• Contribute to the development of novel methodologies and techniques in the field of human immunology

• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $47,486.40 - $60,000.00

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience in at least two of the following: cell culture techniques, tissue processing, flow cytometry, and laboratory management

• Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment

• Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work a modified shift from 11AM-7PM
