The primary duties for the Associate Industrial Hygienist include respiratory protection fit testing for staff, students, faculty, and learners, assisting with fit testing scheduling, and providing respirator training to customers. Additional duties may include entry level industrial hygiene tasks related to occupational safety, environmental health, laboratory safety, hazardous materials control, and uses basic concepts / equipment.

The Associate Industrial Hygienist assists higher level EH&S Specialists. Performs tasks from detailed instructions and established procedures on typically non-complex assignments in support of professional program(s). Work is regularly reviewed for understanding of professional concepts and following defined policies and procedures.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $55,700 - $118,500 (Annual Rate).
