The primary duties for the Associate Industrial Hygienist include respiratory protection fit testing for staff, students, faculty, and learners, assisting with fit testing scheduling, and providing respirator training to customers. Additional duties may include entry level industrial hygiene tasks related to occupational safety, environmental health, laboratory safety, hazardous materials control, and uses basic concepts / equipment.The Associate Industrial Hygienist assists higher level EH&S Specialists. Performs tasks from detailed instructions and established procedures on typically non-complex assignments in support of professional program(s). Work is regularly reviewed for understanding of professional concepts and following defined policies and procedures.
