Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Microbiology
Applications are invited for a 12-month part-time (75%) Assistant Teaching Professor position in the Department of Microbiology. This is a non-tenure track appointment with the expectation of renewable 3-5 year terms. The potential to be an outstanding teacher in both the laboratory and the classroom will be the most important criterion for evaluating applicants. The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing in one or two introductory microbiology courses during the year and for overseeing and teaching a laboratory course during fall, winter and spring quarters.
