Our program is a joint collaboration between LIU Pharmacy and The Brooklyn Hospital Center. The emergency department is a level two trauma center and a designated regional stroke and STEMI center with more than 75,000 annual patient visits. The residency experience is designed to develop the resident into an independent practitioner with advanced expertise in emergency medicine by conceptualizing and integrating experience and knowledge. The resident will also receive a comprehensive experience to the three-legged stool of academia: teaching, service, and scholarship.
