Within Dr. Rajarams lab, the position will perform basic research using molecular, genetic, biochemical, and computational methods to study the biology of organelles in the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. Additional tasks will include keeping inventory of reagents, cell lines, plasmids, and bacterial strains; participating with other group members to maintain consumables and clean glassware in the laboratory; shipping and receiving reagents; and learning and staying up to date on relevant literature; assist with mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students; assist with data organization preparation for publication.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or related discipline. Two years of relevant experience.
