The Department of Microbiology & Immunology, in the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University Medical Center, is distinguished by its emphasis on research that bridges the study of infectious microbes and the response of hosts to such pathogens. Our objective is to understand the molecular basis of infectious disease, and our research is focused on immunology, model systems, and pathogenesis.
Candidates should have strong, relevant scientific experience. Responsibilities will include carrying out experiments and investigatory work in a vibrant research program, and active participation in the Institute's programs and activities. The Staff Associate will implement laboratory processes/protocols and may be responsible for managing an operational or administrative component of a laboratory or program.
