Ohio based Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Pathologist to join its growing team. Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established group of eight Pathologists and four PhD laboratory directors at one of the nation's best free-standing children's hospitals.

The successful candidate will have board certification in Pediatric Pathology in addition to Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Additional certification or area of interest in Blood Banking is a plus.

Our laboratories for cytogenetics, microbiology, and electron microscopy, as well as our fetal and other specialty pediatric pathology services, are the only ones of their kind among area hospitals and serve as regional referral centers. The department has a Pediatric Pathology fellowship program which provides exceptional training. Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available and commensurate with experience.
