The Department of Biology at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in Immunology to begin September 1, 2026. This faculty member will be expected to establish and maintain a well-funded research program with an emphasis on immune responses to evolving pathogens and symbionts, innate immunity, or immunological changes across the host lifespan. Research programs that focus on evolutionary immunology of natural systems and non-model organisms/non-human systems are welcome. Preference will be given to candidates who synergize with existing department strengths in microbiology, virology, aging, ecology, physiology, and evolution.
