The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for developing and providing clinical pharmacy services directed to the general patient population.

The value you’ll bring to the team: 

·  Responsible for the development, implementation and continued maintenance of a comprehensive review of antimicrobial usage.  These responsibilities include the coordination and dissemination of drug information regarding the use of antimicrobial drugs and management of antibiotic utilization. 
·  The Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist will serve as a pharmacy liaison to Antibiotic Stewardship Committee, Infection Control, and Infectious Disease Physicians at FHHD and FHW; while working closely with the Microbiology Department to evaluate antibiotic susceptibility and resistance patterns. 
·  The Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist is also responsible for the Department of Pharmacy Services staff development program with regards to Infectious Diseases and Antibiotic Utilization. 
·  Reports to the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator/Director of Pharmacy/Quality Director.
·  Actively participate in therapeutic drug monitoring programs (i.e, drug utilization review, drug use evaluations, adverse drug reactions programs, therapeutic substitutions and antibiotic management programs) specifically for antibiotics.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: 

·  Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor’s of Pharmacy. 
·  Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Florida.
